Job Description


For INFRA solution area, activates and drives area leadership and stakeholders to foster short- and long-range growth and claim market share. Delivers impact as a product spokesperson/evangelist, leveraging product knowledge and technical expertise to position the value proposition and tailor messaging to a variety of key internal and external audiences. Develops, plans, and lands go-to-market strategy and partners with the business (e.g., Central Marketing Organization, One Commercial Partner, sales organizations) to drive execution. Ensures area communities have the leadership and enablement needed to run the business. Orchestrates a rhythm of the business that enables ongoing measurement of key performance indicators against revenue and scorecard targets and captures customer and partner insights. Acts as the primary voice of the Area into corporate INFRA teams. May execute demand planning or capacity management activities.

Responsibilities:

(1) Leverages credibility and expertise to act as the executive-level INFRA product/technical advocate and evangelist, providing global thought leadership and driving impact across India. Leverages subject matter expertise and knowledge to drive competitive strategy and value proposition development and positioning

(2) Develops and oversees the dissemination of guidance for customer engagements, and advises partner practice leads

(3) Develops and orchestrates the execution of business strategy. Tracks the efficacy of plans across the area to drive long-term sustainable growth for the business. Accepts end-to-end accountability for revenue, scorecard metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business. Identifies strategic priorities to drive impact that changes company strategy, programs, or initiatives across the area

(4) Defines and leads the execution of rhythm of the business cadence and metrics to gather feedback and enable field performance

(5) Consolidates insights to succinctly summarize the business for senior leadership

(6) Drives rigor in definition and orchestration of strategic go-to-market plans inclusive of marketing, field, consulting, customer success, and partner functions that support the One Microsoft approach to overall business strategy and execution

(7) Ensures INFRA India sellers have the leadership and enablement needed to run the business. Serves as the primary orchestrator between the INFRA corporate and the Area, and ensures INFRA India sellers and corporate leadership are aligned on business results and actions to take.

(8) Drives area leadership on INFRA through revealing and pursuing long-range, white-space growth opportunities and investment plans, including geographical expansion. Cross-references opportunities within the market with the area\'s capabilities in order to develop strategies that maximize performance across the business. Drives regular engagements with relevant executive stakeholders to develop and operationalize strategies and oversee implementation of cross-market solutions that drive strategic impact and increased market share, in line with area-specific service requirements (e.g., local regulatory compliance/programs).

Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.
