Control the outside processing of staff claims and vendor payments.
In charge of month-end closing tasks (e.g. posting of journal entries, performing variance analysis for BSPL and review of Head Office reports etc.)
Assist in identifying and resolving problems with data quality that have an effect on financial reporting.
Completing balance sheet substantiation and creating monthly balance sheet schedules.
Assist in the monitoring of the identified key risks within Finance and carry out a control self-assessment in
Archer to support the "first line of defense" model.
Assist in regional cost recharging activities and annual budgeting to Head Office and local management.
Identify synergies within Finance with a view to streamline activities across the region.
Oversee the outsourced processing of payments to vendors and staff claims to guarantee timely and accurate payment of claims and accurate cost recording.
Monitoring revenue and expenses to make sure they stay within budget and that any significant deviations are justified.
In charge of performing month-end closing tasks to facilitate MAS and Head Office reporting, such as posting journal entries, reviewing suspense break and nostro reconciliations, and performing monthly variance analyses of BSPL costs.
Carry out monthly balance sheet substantiation, including accruals and prepayment monitoring, backed by sufficient balance sheet schedules.
Keep an eye on intercompany breaks and make sure they are quickly resolved.
Compile quarterly GST data submissions and attend to any regulator queries relating to GST submissions.
Help with the creation of the management information reporting pack for the company, which includes commentaries, cost analyses covering trends, variance, forecasts, and budgets.
Keep an eye on and fix problems with data quality that have an impact on financial reporting, such as KRI monitoring and DQ checks.
Assist in performing control self-assessments in Archer and monitoring the identified key risks within Finance.
Encourage regional cost recharge initiatives and annual budgeting processes.
Assume a representative role for One Finance in pertinent initiatives and projects.

Requirements
Accounting degree or professional accounting certification
At least two to three years of relevant experience working in the bank's finance department
A reputable audit firm's external auditor will be taken into consideration.
Prior knowledge of management reporting and risk management would be advantageous.
Be driven and tenacious enough to work in a quick-paced environment.
Strong analytical abilities, organization, and attention to detail.
Capable of managing priorities independently, multitasking, and consistently finding ways to work efficiently.
Be open to change and eager to improve the department's workflow efficiency.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
