To ensure the dedicated Shared Service Centre accounting team is properly performing all expected daily AP and GL tasks, and to give them proper guidelines to fulfill their mission.
To ensure an accurate and timely monthly closing (accruals, accounts matching, intercompany matching)
To ensure all accounting activities are performed timely in accordance with client rules and in compliance with the regulations.
To monitor P&L evolution vs budget and regularly report to the top management.
To analyze P&L and Balance Sheet (variances, gaps…).
To ensure supplier invoices are recorded accurately and timely.
To manage all third parties’ payments and approve bank payments within bank portals and TRAX as per bank signatory’s mandates.
To ensure bank reconciliations are accurate and performed timely.
To provide a monthly cash forecast file to SAS.
To monitor the netting process with other entities of the Group.
To monitor tax declaration in accordance with specific legal requirements.
To monitor transfer pricing documentation with the collaboration of a third-party consulting company.
To monitor the external audits.
To establish or update internal procedures.
To ensure constructive and fruitful relationship with other departments and company’s partners (Payroll and Crewing teams in Singapore, manning agencies) in order to drive the organization’s financial performance, process improvement, and value addition to the Group company.
To review the employees’ payroll of the Singapore office.
To set up the department’s monthly KPIs and to be a business partner for the managing director and Ships management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Proficiency in MS Office applications especially in Excel
Proper command in formal English, both in written and oral
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Manager
