The Company
Our client is an established US listed MNC in the Real Estate business. Currently hiring a hands-on Finance talent with excellent communication & interpersonal skills to oversee a local (SG) reporting portfolio.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant with Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting
- Required: External Audit background (prior), and Financial Reporting & Management Reporting experience in the commercial sector is essential
- Proficient in IFRS or US GAAP, knowledge of statutory reporting, managing audits
- Desired traits: Excellent communication skills, hands-on, proactive, hardworking, team player, strong problem solving skills
Job Scope
Reporting to the Financial Controller and as an individual contributor, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of Finance responsibilities for Singapore portfolio, including financial reporting and management reporting, preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance to US GAAP, FRS and Group Accounting standards, internal control and audit matters. You will support the business with budgeting and forecasting, partner with accounting shared services, cross-functional and regional teams, as well as manage audits such as internal and external financial and regulatory audits.
You will continually evaluate and explore ways to streamline and improve processes, as well as participate in any system enhancement initiatives. You should be proficient in IFRS/ US GAAP and have the ability to work independently as a single contributor.
