As an affiliated firm to a local audit firm with more 42 years of history, our consultants will be exposed not just to consulting business but also our assurance, tax and corporate secretarial services. The candidate will be rotated to perform either assurance based assignments or consulting projects.

Finance Operations Assistant Manager The consultant will be supporting one of GYK's client to deliver monthly statutory closing and management reporting. Please see the details below. On top of that, the consultant also be tasked to perform ad-hoc internal projects or company's other smaller projects.

Monthly closing 1. Manage and provide supervision and guidance to AP staff 2. Ensure that all invoices are accurately booked into the accounting system, and are supported by the required documents 3. This includes reviewing invoice postings to ensure accurate coding of accounts, invoice description and tax details, in accordance with tax, accounting and management reporting requirements as well as accounting policies. 4. Review contract and agreement, expenditure and commitment to ensure timely accrual of costs and proper authorization is in place. 5. Ensure compliance with the Group’s finance and procurement policies and procedures 6. Oversee the approval and processing of expenditures 7. Oversee the cashflow planning for the company 8. Prepare and review monthly GST computation and ensure it is in accordance with GST reporting 9. Prepare SBF waiver request forms and survey forms from Department of Statistics 10. Other ad-hoc assignments

Reporting 1. Support finance team on quarterly and yearly reporting requirements 2. Prepare/review statutory financial statements of offshore entities

Requirements

  • Preferably diploma in accountancy or business studies or professional accounting degree (i.e. ACCA) with more than 5 years of working experience in asset management industry
  • Proficient in Ms Excel
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial System and JD Edwards a plus.
  • Can be base in Client or Office, depending on requirement.

Tenure of Probation The role will be a 12 months contract with potential extension.
