Help the controller prepare periodic management reports, forecasts, and budgets while independently completing the activities listed below.
To guarantee the precision, comprehensiveness, and dependability of the reported Operational Cost and Revenue, conduct regular evaluations of data quality.
Work together with the stakeholders to address the deviations found and start the corrective action process.
Regularly review and adjust Standard Costs to minimise discrepancies from Actuals.
Analyse systems, data, and business processes thoroughly to find areas that can be optimised and improved.
Determine and track the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the pertinent departments, then submit a report to management.
Requirements for analysis and ad hoc reporting from management.
Utilise data extraction and transformation tools and processes for business needs and development.
Help with the Management Reports and Financials Reconciliation.
Requirements:
A bachelor\'s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a similar subject.
A minimum of three years of solid experience as a business analyst in the shipping or maritime sector, together with a thorough comprehension of the language used in the trade, operations, and logistics of the sector.
Strong aptitude for analysis.
Knowledge of data analysis methods and tools: familiarity with data visualisation programmes like Tableau, Power BI, and others.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work productively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
Dedicated to the details, possessing excellent organisational and time management abilities to manage several tasks and deadlines.
Proactive approach to problem-solving that involves recognising problems and coming up with creative solutions.
Capacity to function both individually and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced marine setting.
Proficient in spoken and written English. More language proficiency is advantageous.
