Periodic tasks include forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, reporting and cost analysis.
Prepare or review the monthly reports such as but not limited to financial statements, financial schedules, etc., required by the management and government regulatory agencies in accordance with relevant accounting and tax standards and other applicable policies within set deadlines.
Review and provide analysis of monthly financials of business units which includes, but not limited to variance analysis of monthly operating income and expenses with corresponding explanation and movement of balance sheet items with corresponding schedule.
Construct data accumulation systems that will cover project cost accounting.
Create and review the controls needed for cost accumulation and provide relevant project profitability analysis on a timely manner.
Manage and control budget for each project.
Provide financial perspective on various operating issues that may arise from time to time.
Develop various metrics and other analytical tools in order to understand revenue and cost drivers.
Monitor inventory count and valuation, reconcile inventory records, analyze variances and recommends investigation for cycle counting to resolve issues, as required.
Preparation or review of statutory compliance requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies internally.
Complete all deliverables and other assigned tasks or projects if any within the targeted timeline, including timely response to inquiries within and outside the department.
Perform ad-hoc functions or participate in projects that may be assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Can start as soon as possible and willing to work in San Juan City
Experience:
With minimum two (2) years experience in accounting, taxation, finance, or audit and relevant experience in financial reporting and compliance functions
Solid working knowledge of financial control
Knowledgeable in Financial Statement preparation and analysis and tax compliance
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Experienced in presenting finance matters, including issues and resolutions to stakeholders
Preferably with working knowledge in telecommunication and project management operations
Knowledgeable in Oracle NetSuite ERP System
