The Role Responsibilities
The Business Planning and Strategy team requires a financial PMO to support the management of a large investment portfolio. The successful candidate will be a Financial PMO Analyst with an educational background in Business Administration, majoring in either IT Management or Finance in addition. He or she will be a trusted advisor to our initiative leads and scrum masters and enable them to "Do the Right Thing", maintaining strong financial and process governance across the portfolio. In addition, the incumbent has a keen interest in Financial Markets and new emerging technologies, which will help them to grow in the bank, given this is a position which could has the potential to develop into a Scrum Master or Business Analyst or Project Manager role in the future.
Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support initiative owners by managing project financials holistically.
  • Perform regular program/project report consolidation and submission.
  • Support Refinement Forums with the necessary segment data for reporting.
  • Analyse trends, highlight issues and work with relevant parties to resolve issues.
  • Tracking and reporting of project milestones, risks and issues and project artefacts and ensure these are managed in line with SCB\'s policies.
  • Ensure control around vendor engagements (SOWs, Sourcing/Engagement requests, supplier management processes and controls).
  • Manage headcount approvals, accurately track and report staff headcount by different employment categories.
  • Produce monthly management reports by consolidating project achievements and concerns.
  • Support New Ways of Working with any inputs required for the respective forums.
  • Conduct additional research tasks on new technologies as assigned (therefore Financial Markets knowledge and keen interest in capital markets, emerging trends is highly preferred).
Our Ideal Candidate
Qualifications & Skills
  • 5+ years\' experience in project/program financial management.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business or a related field (Economics, IT Management).
  • Proven ability to work independently, driven, able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Diligence and good numerical / analytic skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Competency in Clarity or other project financials management software.
Desirable
  • Agile qualification (Agile Basics, Scrum Master certification).
  • Keen interest in Financial Markets.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong financial analytic skills including dashboard and report building.
