Job Description


The Pan Pacific Orchard presents the pinnacle of design by award-winning WOHA, located in Singapore\'s prime district Orchard Road.

The 23-floor destination hotel redefines the city\'s landscape with four themed open-air terraces of distinctive design concepts - Forest, Beach, Garden and Cloud.

Nestled amidst the Forest Terrace is new signature restaurant Mosella, which will introduce a sharing concept of Mediterranean cuisine with a refreshing Peruvian twist. The Beach errace will bring a resort-like experience to the heart of the city, and above, the Garden Terrace will be home to Florette, the Champagne & Oysters specialty bar. At the highest levels of the Cloud Terrace, level 18 will house Orchard\'s highest pillarless ballroom, Claymore Ballroom.

The Food & Beverage Manager is a key player of the management team and reports to the Director of Food & Beverage (DOFB), overseeing the operations, management and overall performance and effectiveness of all Food & Beverage outlets, including banquet operations.

  • Works closely with the DOFB to formulate and implement the annual business plan for the F&B Division and determines the key performance indicators of the managers to achieve this end.
  • Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning for the F&B Department to meet daily operational needs.
  • Ensures the smooth and efficient daily operations of all F&B outlets and banquet operations, in tandem with the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Drives high levels of guest satisfaction through the consistent training and execution of all brand standards, visible operational leadership, active trend analysis and hands-on interaction with guests and Associates.
  • Responsible for the promotion and service innovation of the outlets; providing direction and ensuring that action plans are followed through in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with the Culinary team and provide inputs on menu offerings
  • Monitors guest satisfaction indices and ensure the achievement of targets.
  • Conducts regular meetings with all F&B Service sections to improve service and product efficiency.
  • Conducts regular hygiene audits in conjunction with the Chief Steward & Executive Chef.
  • Monitors F&B\'s financial performance and assume responsibilities for its achievement.
  • Responsible and leads the F&B Service teams in proper expenditures including labour and cost controls, as well inventory management / control.
  • Ensure all F&B Service associates are well informed of the restaurant\'s products and events and constantly drive upselling initiatives.
  • Understands local restaurants, bars and catering market / scene and able to provide ideas and strategic initiatives to maximise revenue.
  • Develop contacts and relationships in surrounding offices. Explore and implement potential partnerships to drive new business.
Talent Profile

We are looking for a Manager who is go-getter and has at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar capacity. He/She must also possess comprehensive F&B operational knowledge and has managed a large team with a luxury brand. He/She should have at least a Diploma in Hospitality Management / Food & Beverage Operations from a recognized hospitality or tertiary institution, with strong business acumen and is guest service focus.
