Job Description

My client, a global European leader in food ingredients, is seeking an Export Area Manager to join their team in Singapore. They are currently expanding in the APAC region and are looking for a dynamic candidate to help with the growth into the market.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with contract manufacturers and distribution channels to identify and cultivate new business prospects, implementing effective strategies to capitalize on them.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, seminars, and trade shows to promote products and services in global markets.
• Work closely with the marketing team to support and execute strategies for products or services in international markets.
• Provide support to contract manufacturers and Commercial Directors of branches to facilitate their growth in commercial and personnel aspects.
• Advise senior management on industry best practices, including commercial standards and import/export regulations.
• Foster and strengthen relationships with key end-user accounts to drive distribution volume.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing complaints, resolving product supply chain issues, conducting client visits, participating in industry networking events and trade shows, and providing training to distributor\'s sales network.
• Assist in negotiation processes to secure favourable agreements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in food ingredients sales.
• Strong knowledge and extensive network within the food ingredients manufacturing industries.
• Commercially driven with a strong determination to secure every deal.
• Dynamic individual with sharp business acumen and a proactive mindset for new business development.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
