Freight Analyst (grains) Singapore
Job Description
We are currently partnered with a dry bulk affiliate, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, to help them expand their founding research team and join well-established experts in the dry bulk industry. They are looking to continue their growth by assembling a high-performance team who have the ability to work closely with the commercial team. They are looking to hire a Freight Analyst with grains experience (preferably soybean or coal) in Singapore. This role will involve conducting analysis and providing clear short-term and long-term forecasts on seaborne grains flows as well as developing and maintaining demand and supply models. The candidate should also have the ability to build and maintain a network within the grains industry. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in agriculture commodities research and have a solid network within the industry. There is also a need for a high level of proficiency in Mandarin. SQL/Phyton knowledge as well as experience in using visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau or Holistic) will be advantageous.
