Role Description We are seeking a candidate with a self-starter mindset and strong relationship management skills. The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels, identify key issues, and provide alternative solutions is critical to success in this role. Key differentiators will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily regulated environment. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely submissions for statutory and regulatory reporting requirements applicable to the Singapore fund entities

• Proven effectiveness at managing outsourced service providers to achieve timely and quality deliverables for review

• Responsible for the timely submissions for corporate tax, GST and withholding tax filing, including FATCA and CRS reporting

• Responsible for the coordinate of external audit for the Singapore fund entities

• Review of fund entity monthly financial information including investment valuations and accuracy of revenue/ expenses

• Work closely and coordinate with teams based in Singapore and our global locations (e.g India, US, Middle East)
  

• Ability to be legally employed in Singapore

• Degree in accounting or finance, with 3-5 years of experience at the Big 4 or reputed, mid-tier professional firms

• Well versed in accounting standards (SFRS/ IFRS/ US GAAP) specifically those that are relevant to the funds management industry

• Pursuit of a CA/ CPA qualification would be an added advantage

• Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills would be key to success in this role

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, plan time and meet deadlines, collaborative mentality, along with the gravitas to work closely with various stakeholders

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
