About the role:

The role will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategic Firemark Collective Innovation and venturing space transformation program for the IAG organization across countries and segments. This will include working closely with global stakeholders across different disciplines including the Ventures, Futures and Accelerator to build and drive initiatives and achieve goals across the transformation portfolio and propel the transformation effort in Singapore Lab.

This will entail accountability for end-to-end ownership of activities and processes, timely and high-quality deliverables, and continuous improvement.

The GM is responsible for managing the innovation process inside the organization that identifies strategies, business opportunities and new technologies and then develops new capabilities and architectures with partners, new business models and new industry structures to serve those opportunities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Partner with FMC (Firemark Collective) stakeholders and ANZ Transformation Program to establish strategic, tactical solutions and lead the transformation initiatives to achieve budgetary and non-budgetary objectives for the region.
  • Act as key driver and contact point for transformation activities for FMC.
  • Partner with various stakeholders in business Transformation and different functions to establish a robust process around identification and prioritisation of the initiatives
  • Develop an enhanced communication strategy to provide greater transparency around delivery to all key stakeholders and FMC employees
  • Understand and clearly communicate priorities on all initiatives within your program
  • Create governance structure to enable translation of objectives into initiatives, drive program progress and escalate risks, issues and solutions
  • Be responsible for overseeing all areas of the business, implementing any operational changes and delivering measurable improvements
  • Drive effective change request management
  • Ensure effective project oversight and reviews to drive program success
  • Develop and maintain “lessons-learned” inputs to the project repository for utilization on future programs initiated by the division.
  • Serve as a mentor/advisor/decision-maker to initiative owners for the program for issues related to client relations, governmental regulation, project quality, project risk, and safety Implement Agile working program in FMC.

Experiences, Capabilities & Qualifications
  • You have extensive experience managing enterprise projects with end-to-end responsibility for project delivery
  • You are good at publishing plans, estimates, capacity plans, proposal building, contract negotiations and project financial management
  • Understand the various software development methodologies (traditional, agile, etc.) and be able to consult with customers on the best approach that applies to their scenario
  • You love the idea of unifying hierarchies and enjoy hosting and organizing meetings to facilitate collaboration
  • Experience in distributed project management or collaborative team management is preferred
  • You're resilient in ambiguous situations and can adapt to a variety of roles to tackle challenges from multiple angles. You don't shy away from risk, but take risks and manage them skillfully
  • You aspire to mentor, mentor, and motivate others, and you aspire to influence team members, take positive action and take responsibility for their work
  • You are a natural leader with a proven track record of encouraging your teammates' career development and relationships
  • You're good at building strong partnerships And you understand the importance of building relationships and how it can bring new opportunities to our business
