Faststream Recruitment has partnered with a leading multinational company in the Port Agency space to identify a General Manager for their Singapore operations.

You will be responsible for being overall in-charge of operations in SG which include - Port Agency, Liner Agency, Logistics and Survey Operations, operational KPIs of entire team & country, trainings, continuous improvement of operational structures and quality performance and closing CARs for SG and ensuring meeting Systems KPIs.
You will also be responsible for creating and delivering a business plan for SG, focusing on maintaining and growing existing business and development of new business opportunities, Account Management, establishing market presence and profile and working together with the General Manager of Southeast Asia and actively participate in delivery of the sector/solution specialist plans in SG and reporting to the Area General Manager South East Asia.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is has an MBA, Bachelors or Master's Degree or similar or equivalent work experience, project management qualification is desirable but not necessary, has good understanding of shipping agency and marine services business, has a good relationship with authorities and various terminal and shipyards and good knowledge of various types of port calls handling in SG and an operations expert with a commercial mindset.

Someone with experience in Shipping Agency outfit (regional/global) would be held in high regard.
