Job Description


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Formulate annual work plans and put up operating budgets to achieve business targets in line with the Company’s strategic objectives as set by the Board of Directors.
  • Oversee all functions of the Company.
  • Lead in recruitment and performance appraisal of the HODs.
  • Seek out opportunities for the Company’s revenue and profit growth, prepare business proposals for pursuing these opportunities by scanning relevant markets or market segments for trends and pitfalls, establishing the budget, analysing their risks and returns, and developing action plans.
  • Engage in business networking and establish external strategic partnerships that will further the interest of the Company.
  • Ensure achievement of targets set during annual work plans, including revenue and profit targets and other KPI.
  • Develop a Management Dashboard and report to the Board of Directors periodically on the Company’s business performance, progress of target achievement and the state of the organisation, etc.
  • Streamline business processes to achieve better effectiveness and efficiency, and drive the change communication and implementation process..
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain positive relations with the relevant authorities and agencies.
  • Foster a growth-oriented, positive and nurturing environment within the organisation while ensuring all employees adhere to Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Keen commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and build reliable models for business growth.
  • Proven track record in achieving corporate growth targets.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Strong people-management, communication and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Versatility to engage in high-level and ground-level perspectives.
  • At least 15 years of experience in the retail and or food industry including 5 years of senior managerial experience.
