Primary Overview

• Ensure full food safety and regulatory compliance of Specialized Nutrition Ingredient specifications used in Danone factories in the region, to ensure highest standards of finished products for customers

• Manage the specification of Dairy materials (Milk Powders, Lactose and GOS) for Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA)

• Supporting raw material monitoring programs which include sample management, results tracking and statistical analysis

• Part of Global team responsible for the specification portfolio of SN Dairy Ingredients

• Identify opportunities for specification improvement, efficiency, complexity reduction, security of supply and translate those into concrete harmonization projects across factories and suppliers.

• Build and maintain effective working relationship with internal (Purchasing, Quality and R&D teams) and external partners (suppliers, technology partners) for excellence in execution

Major Responsibilities

• Achieve full technical, food safety and regulatory compliance of Dairy Ingredients specifications

• Drive specification upgrading process: functional specification, new regulatory global requirements and safety risks anticipation

• Drive both internal and external material development and validation processes, including

Manage of dairy ingredients in Artemis (specification system)Update of specification databases by liaising with key internal stakeholders (R&I, Quality) to understand the needs of local Supply PointProvide up-to-date and precise raw material nutritional information according to current raw material technical specification and raw material monitoring resultsLead the specification discussion/negotiation with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Take the lead (co-lead) role in the ingredient stream for the roll-out of Bestmix (formulation tool) in Supply Points

Ensure ingredient completeness (E.g. nutrients, composition, allergens) in ArtemisRectify/resolve potential issues highlighted by Product DevelopersCoordinate with other global portfolio owners to close up gaps in Artemis

• Lead the management and implementation of raw material monitoring program in the AMEA region by liaising with R&I, Cycle & Procurement (C&P), local specification managers, third party laboratory and Analytical Excellence team.

Identify the key ingredients and parameters to be included in the programSteer the sample management of the program to ensure planned raw materials reaches the third party labEnsures that the testing is carried out according to planManaging purchase orders and invoices for analysisCoordinates with portfolio owners to warrant a timely analysis/review of the data

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in food science or related field is preferred

• At least 3 years of experience in dairy ingredients, dairy conversion processes/technologies, dairy cost drivers and regulation in nutrition/food industry

• Preferably Dairy specifications development experience with a strong focus on material quality, food safety and regulatory compliance on global scale

• Experience in Artemis/SAP systems and Power BI is a plus

• Excellent team working and communication skills in a non-hierarchical, cross functional and highly international environment

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural, dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Detail-oriented and flexibility is a must
