MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment:

\xc2\xb7 Manage and oversee the administration of all recruitment and selection activities, including preparation of job descriptions and advertisements and utilising recruitment platforms to advertise positions, conduct screening and interview candidates

\xc2\xb7 Manage and improve onboarding processes

\xc2\xb7 Oversee application and renewal of foreign work passes

Budget & Payroll:

\xc2\xb7 Manage annual HR budget

\xc2\xb7 Process monthly payroll for office staff and bi-monthly payroll for factory workers

Performance Management:

\xc2\xb7 Manage annual performance appraisal process

\xc2\xb7 Drive talent management process and conversations

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with line managers to implement employee professional development plans

\xc2\xb7 Training and Development:

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with external providers to coordinate training programmes

Employee Relations and Engagement:

\xc2\xb7 Attract, motivate, and retain our talents

\xc2\xb7 Manage employee relations counselling

\xc2\xb7 Engage in grievance handling

\xc2\xb7 Oversee exit interviews

Compensation and Benefits:

\xc2\xb7 Manage key compensation & benefits activities i.e., salary increment, allowance, performance bonus, promotion, insurance, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct salary benchmarking

Policy Development & Reporting:

\xc2\xb7 Participate in formulation of HR solutions and programmes to address workforce and business needs

\xc2\xb7 Align Group practices and policies without infringing national legislations

\xc2\xb7 Communicate and implement new policies, processes to the ground

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and analyse HR reports for management review

Administrative Duties:

\xc2\xb7 Assist in annual ISO renewal process

\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements (e.g. NEA, SCDF, BCA, JTC, HPB, etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Create and ensure maintenance of SOPs governing corporate administration

\xc2\xb7 Support business continuity activities as Safe Management Officer as well as records management

\xc2\xb7 Organize corporate events and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on staff engagement activities, e.g., dinner & dance, Christmas party, office staff birthday celebration, mooncake festival, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Lead office/factory renovation projects - plan, propose and implement projects upon consultation with management and other stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Assist with Administration budget

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate travel arrangements and related insurance programs

\xc2\xb7 Office, factory and facilities management, including workstation planning, dormitory, fire alarm, monthly workplace inspection

\xc2\xb7 Assist with Exhibition arrangements

Corporate Social Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Manage annual CSR projects/initiatives/events - plan, propose and implement upon consultation with management and relevant stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Plan, monitor and track CSR budget and expenses

Qualifications and experience:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent

\xc2\xb7 At least 4 years of HR experience with 2 years in a similar capacity as a manager

\xc2\xb7 Preferably with experience working in a local company setting managing a small to mid-size headcount

\xc2\xb7 Experience over-seeing a dormitory

\xc2\xb7 Good command of English and Mandarin skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing)

Key skills:

\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge of local employment laws and HR best practices

\xc2\xb7 Advantageous to have knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in Malaysia, China and Taiwan

\xc2\xb7 Experience in dealing with all levels of staff in a confident and credible manner

\xc2\xb7 Strong IT skills, specifically Excel, Word & PowerPoint

\xc2\xb7 Strong organisation and interpersonal skills

\xc2\xb7 Good listening and problem-solving skills

\xc2\xb7 Able to lead and groom subordinates

\xc2\xb7 Able to work independently and as part of a team
