As the Growth and Marketing Lead at Terrascope, you will be at the forefront of all our marketing efforts, executing content projects, digital campaigns and building up the creative assets that drive brand awareness, engage our target audiences, and generate demand for our decarbonisation platform.

You\'ll play a critical role in accelerating Terrascope\'s growth by working closely with the commercial team to source and expand our inbound pipeline. Our ideal candidate will be a hands-on marketer that has experience in leading a small marketing team at a 50-200 person tech start-up, in Enterprise or B2B SaaS and digital demand generation.

This role requires a blend of strategy & analytical skills, creative flair and a willingness to go deep and understand the domain of sustainability, climate regulation, decarbonisation and carbon data. Candidates should be data-oriented and constantly be gathering insights (qualitative and quantitative) on what is working and what is not, and making evidence based decisions on where best to spend effort and budgets. \

In this role, you will:

  • Be the steward of the Terrascope brand and in collaboration with the design, product, commercial and customer support, provide clear creative direction to internal and external teams to ensure the quality and consistency of our content
  • Continuously evolve our documentation, asset libraries, processes and ways of working and ensure synergy between the Terrascope brand, platform experience and service experiences
  • Oversee the creation and execution of various content types, including customer case studies, product videos, webinars, website pages, blog posts, social media assets, and more
  • Lead signature thought-leadership content projects, in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and external partners, and managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Implement on-page and off-page tactics to improve search engine rankings and user experience for both high-conversion and high traffic keywords, across multiple subdirectories and local pages
  • Experiment with forms and form-flows on the website, blogs and other landing pages
  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies across various channels and geographies to scale the pipeline contribution from marketing, and to optimise the conversion funnel over time
  • Equip the sales team with essential tools, resources, and collateral that resonate with target audiences and support the sales process
  • Work closely with commercial and product teams to help nurture high priority prospects to conversion through webinars, marquee events and curated content
  • Collaborate with the sales team and external agency support to develop Account-Based-Marketing plan(s) to target select high priority accounts
  • Provide guidance to the marketing team who will be driving the execution of AR, PR and Event programs and activities to enhance Terrascope\'s visibility and credibility as the top carbon management platform for the Food, Beverage & Agriculture and FLAG sectors
  • Create insightful thought leadership content that positions Terrascope as an industry leader
  • Support relationship building with industry analysts and key influencers to enhance Terrascope\'s reputation in key markets
You should have/ be:
  • Proven experience as a leader of a small marketing team, preferably in an Enterprise SaaS or B2B SaaS environment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects, stakeholders and timelines
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, ready to launch small to learn and iterate
  • The ability and willingness to scale a project from smaller to bigger budget, depending on the company priorities and possible ROI
  • An expert communicator that can break down technical topics and explain strategies simply to create buy in
  • Attuned to making remote collaboration work, using digital tools and meticulously documenting work
  • Proficiency across marketing functions and capabilities - from content production, to scaling demand generation; from SEO to product-led growth; from being the first marketing hire at a startup to leading a team
  • Familiarity with the enterprise SaaS demand generation playbook, accompanied by a desire to get creative and experiment with new ideas, tactics, and opportunities
  • A strategic thinker and hands on in execution, someone who can set a vision and the plan to get there, and get it done
  • Fluent in English, ability to speak Japanese is a bonus
