Job Description

Vatos Kitchen & Bar, is looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Singapore branch, as well as, be an integral part of the expansion and set-up team both locally and overseas.


The ideal candidate will possess a degree in culinary arts, an in-depth knowledge of Mexican cuisine, and minimum of ten years of kitchen management/head chef experience.





Duties and Responsibilities



Coordinate all areas of the kitchen. Manage kitchen staff and provide them with feedback. Training of new kitchen staff. Formulate schedules for kitchen staff. Maintain impeccable standards of quality control, hygiene, sanitation, health and safety. Maintain proper inventories for the kitchen and be responsible for ordering supplies. Calculate and maintain menu costing and recipes. Create Standard Operating Procedures and policies for the kitchen. Assist owner with research and development of new menu items. Assist owner with expansion of new outlets both in Singapore and abroad.

Compensation:



Head Chef: Monthly salary is $6500 - $8500 per month depending on experience.


A degree in culinary arts (preferably in Mexican or Latin cuisine) and at least ten years of kitchen management/head chef experience is desirable.
