Helps to shape the company\xe2\x80\x99s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Corporate Strategy:
Operate as a thought partner to the CEO to set the direction of strategy.
Identify key strategic growth opportunities at the company and work towards implementing the strategies.
Develop analytics that will be used to establish well-supported solutions with key insights and specific recommendations that facilitate executive management team to make informed decision and strategy formulation.
Shape and implement the strategy of the business and serve as an expert resource on growth and innovation processes.
2. New and Existing Market Development :
Take a leadership role in assessing both market and customer / distributor direction (current state and future state). Evaluate and determine gaps that need to be addressed.
Manage business relationships / partnerships throughout the distributor network and building new ones.
Expands the profile and reach of the company and its brands.
3. Executive Influencing :
Interfacing and championing initiatives across a broad functional array.
Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
Build alliances, support executive leadership and stakeholders within the business in developing business strategies, inclusive of long-term goals and objectives, key risk management, and driving business and project initiatives.
4. Project Management:
Work directly with the CEO, functional business leaders, line managers to execute on strategic initiatives.
Malaysia division
Strategize and implement plans to add core capabilities, people and investments to achieve the objectives including acquisition, greenfield projects or direct investments.
Defines financial analytical frameworks to manage healthy financials, work with finance and assist in raising funds with local institution if required.
Oversee regulatory compliances of the division.
Ensure process efficiency through digitization and digitalization.
5. Other Duties:
Support top business leadership across the business in solving high priority operational issues by driving the communication and development of suitable strategies and goals.
Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
Support the management in contract development, customer negotiations and product enhancements. Prepare documentation required for request for business proposals.
Participate in seminars and professional meetings to represent the company.
Tracks emerging markets and trends.
Travels to vendor locations, distributions centers, and other locations as required by the Company.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Tertiary education preferred
At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in regional sales and marketing in the Healthcare industry
Experienced in managing a sales team with profit & loss management responsibility
Excellent relationship builder
Experience in Account Relationship/Management with global distributors
Digitally savvy
Knowledge of Supply-chain and logistics
Knowledge of Healthcare Compliance and Regulatory requirements
