Job Description

The Head of Finance - Global Logistics and Fulfilment partners with the Global Supply Chain Function and Regional Sales and Finance team to ensure on time deliver product to the customers at optimal cost.

From time to time, the incumbent will also work on ad hoc analysis and projects to provided insightful analysis for decision-making by the senior management function in Dyson

The role has good exposure to Dyson\'s c-suite and allows the incumbent a great opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of Dyson Operations Business.

The role reports into the Finance Director of Supply Chain and IBP.

Accountabilities

• Business partnering with Global Logistics and Fulfilment team to drive supply chain efficiency at optimal cost both at global and regional level.
• Evolve and strengthen Dyson\'s End to End Supply Chain Processes. Act as key finance leader to support Network Redesign decision.
• Finance business partner to Regional Finance CFO and Supply Chain Leaderships team. Be responsible for delivering best in class financial analytics to support decision making
• Establish financial metrics, being one single source of truth to ensure all due financials implications are considered as part of integrated business planning process.
• Lead monthly and annual financials KPI review by aligning the financials impact with business drivers.
• Ensure integrity of financials close and reporting are in place and aligned with accounting policy
• Provide finance leadership supports for transformation project
• Build a network across the Global Finance organisation to leverage relevant finance expertise in long-term planning of product supply.
• Lead and develop a new finance organisation. Grow, attract and retain talent.

Skills

• Qualified Accountant or equivalent post graduate qualification.
• High Intellect, Integrity coupled with Growth mindsets
• Highly commercial with excellent strategic instincts
• Logistics and Fulfilment Finance experience is a must
• Energetic, engaging and positive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; can work comfortably in a complex matrix organisation
• Culturally aware and with an international mindset, together with a collaborative style as a strong team player
• Excellent organisational, planning, budget and project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills including c-suite presentations
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder demands and conflicting priorities
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
