About Our Client

Listed in NYSE, our client is a well known organisation within the professional services sector and has been a key partner to some of the world's most prestigious Fortune 500 companies. They are an innovative business with a clear focus on technology and has been growing progressively in the last 10 years. They are looking for the next phase of growth in Asia Pacific and thus would have a requirement for a high calibre Head of M&A to join their Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore.

Reporting to both the Global Head of M&A and Asia Pacific Managing Director, you are expected to build and eventually lead a lean team covering major markets like China, SEA, Australia and India. You are expected to lead the end to end for all M&A activities starting with the deal origination. Working closely with other parts of the business, you will be task with driving and aligning their M&A strategy and ensure that business goals and objectives are met. Driving the deal structuring and execution, due diligence and negotiation forms key part of this role. You are to present potential risks and implication while proposing remedial actions and ensure that the transaction is executed in the best condition. You will also work on post M&A integration to ensure business continuity.

The Successful Applicant

You should have a degree from a reputable university and ideally a MBA with impeccable track record in driving M&A activities for a large organisation. Industry exposure in professional services and technology or media will be highly preferred. You are a highly driven individual who has a background in consulting or investment banking and is able to translate the results into a corporate commercial environment. You are highly commercial, well networked and has the ability to extract leads and originate deals. You possess excellent presentation and communication skills and is able to navigate difficult conversation and influence senior stakeholders to achieve the right outcome.
