About the Role

Head of Marketing will be responsible for leading total Market & Category strategy for Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand & Vietnam, in close collaboration with colleagues locally and globally. The role will oversee marketing communication activities and campaigns including category strategy.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, DSEA, the role will manage a team of cluster marketing leads, category leads, digital marketing lead and social media lead. You will lead the team to develop their careers to the next stage as well as having the potential opportunity to grow your own career regionally or even globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, inspire, and collaborate with local and global teams to develop marketing plan that drives the business goals & influence innovation

  • Spearhead DSEA marketing strategies and continuously discover opportunities through product ranging & pricing, channel activations, retail, media etc.
  • Bringing strategies to life by influencing and working effectively with local and global teams, to ensure alignment of the local strategy, and getting requirements delivered.
  • Deep understanding of each market & category through analysis of insights by working closely with the insight team & market teams, and to take the insight to action for both short term activations and influence long term product development in the future.
Manage and track key KPIs of markets & categories
  • Develop strategies against business goals (P&L/sell-out), create integrated SEA marketing plans, and take lead in key local and global decisions in bringing the strategy to life.
  • Managing and tracking of key marketing KPIs (Dyson and competitor\'s sell-out & share, media performance, retail activations, etc.)
  • Flexibly and speedily spearhead actions based on the KPIs.
  • Accountable for prioritization of marketing budget
Lead team to build integrated new product launch campaigns
  • Lead/supervise team to execute new product launch campaigns. (Communication strategy, asset creation, product management, media planning & executions)
  • Fully understand the technology, and translate this to a clear communication strategy and messaging priorities that best work for the SEA markets
  • Ensure all team deliverables & communications going outside are accurate and consistent.
  • Ensure team integrated media plan are executed collaboratively working with external planning and media agencies
About You

Experience and Education:
  • 12+ years of consumer brand/product marketing experience (experience in media strategy planning and execution, BTL, etc.)
  • Minimum 8 years of brand management experience (from top line P&L management, strategy building & media)
  • A strong & experienced people manager. Managing multi-market teams is a plus.
  • Experience in leading multi-markets & multi-marketing functions is a must. Regional category management experience is a plus.
  • Multi-functional project-lead experience of bringing strategy in life
  • Distributor management experience is a plus
  • Commercially driven; understanding key levers & implications beyond Marketing to drive success across the business
  • Strong passion for Innovation, Problem-solving, people development and Dyson products
