Working Location: Woodlands

Working hours per week: 44 hours

Shift Work:5.5 days

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiency, yields, costs and changeovers.

• Improve process capability, productivity, and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.

• Develop and implement systems that optimize all production process phases.

• Collate, record, and transcribe data.

• Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.

• Research and purchase new manufacturing technology.

• Must know the material, secondary process and machining techniques.

• Must be able to study, understand and estimate each process accurately during the RFQ stage of production.

• Must know ISO processes and documentation.

• Ensures Safety & Quality of established legislation complies during different shifts.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Manufacturing). A Mechanical Engineering diploma with considerable precision manufacturing experience will also be considered.

• Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain and Tsugami controllers and a good understanding of CAD/CAM such as Hyper Mill and Solid Work.

• Must be able to plan and allocate jobs tasks and able to handle a group of process engineers.

• Good working knowledge of Six Sigma / CI tools is a plus (DMAIC, SIPOC, Swim lane Diagram, Spaghetti Diagram, Value Stream Mapping) a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, project planning, cost control and program management.
