About The Role The APAC Sales Operations team for Uber Delivery is looking for a candidate to cover this role for 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity for a high performing candidate to get exposure to the APAC market across the sales organisation! The APAC Sales Operations team is currently made up of in-country sales operations teams who directly support the local sales organisation and a central team who support all APAC markets across sales compensation, sales systems and data & analytics. This role will manage all of the country sales operations leads plus the vertical leads in the central team (total team HC is 22 people). In addition to providing support and guidance to 6 Direct Reports, the Head of Sales Ops role is a key partner to the country Heads of Sales and GMs across APAC, providing them with guidance and input on sales best practices on a regular basis. This role is also a critical stakeholder to the Global Sales Systems & Operations team, ensuring that tooling and product support is relevant, applicable and compliance across all APAC countries. Your Impact in Role: Partner with APAC General Managers and sales leaders to establish productivity benchmarks and driver metrics to beat efficiency goals across sales and client success Critically evaluate Sales incentive plans and iterate and improve as the business evolves, considering all factors like alignment with business needs, cost efficiency and return on investment Influence and implement rules of engagement across selling teams, handle disputes and overcome conflicts around territories and attainment crediting Manage an impactful team of analysts and managers, driving consistency, scalability and standard methodology sharing wherever possible The Experience You'll Bring: Proven experience in a senior sales strategy and/or operations role, with experience leading teams within a highly complex, matrixed organization Proven experience on sales performance, forecasting, quota planning, and sales compensation models Expertise in defining and crafting operational strategy and scaling business operations, including driving cross-functional projects end-to-end Familiarity with data sets, SQL, Salesforce.com or other CRM What's in it for you Uber's culture and values are at the core of everything we do, so that our employees can better understand who we are and what it's like to work at Uber today.
