The Opportunity
The built environment is generating nearly 40% of the total global carbon footprint. With global warming and urbanization this trend can only increase unless we decide to combat it. Many corporations have made pledges to reduce to NZC but the road to deliver on these promises still needs to be defined and implemented. JLL manages more than 5 billion square feet on behalf of our clients, and therefore we have an important role to play in driving the sustainability agenda to shape a better world.

To achieve this ambitious goal, we will need to engage with our clients as the vast majority of our scope 3 emissions are generated by their portfolios. With this commitment we must deploy best in class sustainability practices with all of our clients across the 5 billion square feet that we manage globally, whether investors or occupiers, from strategy to transforming assets, project management down to managing assets.
The Role
We are seeking a Head of Sustainable Operations, Asia who will be responsible for leading JLL's client focused sustainability team across Asia. The Head of Sustainable Operations, Asia will oversee a regional team from India to Hong Kong that delivers wide ranging environmental services for JLL's clients. The role is a critical part of JLL's ambition to help our clients rapidly improve their environmental performance.
It is an exciting mix of client engagement, environmental delivery, people management and business development. The role also has strategic element as it will be influential in defining and delivering JLL's expanding range of sustainability services.
