The position of Global Sales Head is responsible for leading the sales strategy and driving revenue growth and market share for a data center company on a global scale.
The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and channel partners, collaborating with senior management and various departments to achieve sales objectives in different countries. Key responsibilities of the role includes: setting revenue and profit targets, creating a global sales strategy, developing annual budgets and forecasts, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, and implementing programs to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency. The Global Sales Head will also lead cross-functional teams to develop winning proposals and submissions, mentor and guide the sales team, and represent the company at industry events.
To be considered for the role, candidates should preferably have a BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with 15-20 years of experience in sales and relationship-building in the regional data center industry. Candidates should also have a proven track record in driving revenue growth, strong leadership skills, deep understanding of the data center industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to travel globally as needed is also required. Existing relationships with channel partners in ASEAN would be an added advantage.
