:ClientThis European HQ IoT organisation are looking for a Sales Manager to hunt for new business across APAC. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, based in Europe, this is an exciting opportunity to drive the sales across APAC. Selling into Manufacturing, Real estate and logistics, you will be selling an energy efficency software that will improve plant/machinery.Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for the APAC region, focusing on business development and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Client Engagement: Lead sales activities including prospecting, client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and post-sales support. Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring exceptional client relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Approach the role with a startup mentality, taking ownership of business outcomes, and adopting a hands-on approach to solving challenges.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide regular updates and insights to the management team. Adapt strategies as necessary to meet and exceed targets.
  • Networking: Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, partners, and stakeholders to support and accelerate business growth across the region.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B direct sales and business development within the APAC region, ideally in the energy, technology, or related sectors.
  • Service-Focused: Proven experience in selling services, not just products. Candidates with experience limited to selling through intermediaries or distribution channels will not be considered.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and a drive for business success.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Team Management: Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • APAC Market Familiarity: In-depth knowledge of the APAC market and a willingness to travel as needed.
