KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design and implement a front-office portfolio risk management framework, process, and governance across the investment platform and across all asset classes and LBUs.
  
• Lead regular discussions with portfolio managers on all aspects of the portfolio construction process.
  
• To develop a clear risk/reward approach, assist the portfolio managers in constructing appropriate risk-aware portfolios.
  
• To understand and develop reporting of different risks and portfolio and firm exposures to them.
  
• To ensure portfolio risk taking is consistent with client objectives and delivering best client outcomes.
  
• To actively communicate and partner with key business stakeholders such as Risk Management, Performance Reporting and Front Office Services to drive the creation, production and delivery of risk analytics and models and to provide them to portfolio managers and positively influence portfolio construction processes and drive better investment decisions and outcomes
  
• To spearhead the creation and / or customisation of portfolio analysis tools and applications to deliver better insights to PMs and the CIO.
  
• To participate in the communication of portfolio performance an outcome to senior stakeholders and clients and to develop the reporting and analytics to present a better, clearer picture of investment performance and outcomes.
  
• To participate in the Investment Excellence Project designed to ensure that appropriate risk and alpha targets are set for all portfolios managed by Eastspring and that PMs are help accountable for the delivery of these targets.
