The Housekeeping Manager assists the management to oversee the smooth and efficient operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of hotel cleaning and audit standards meet The Housekeeping Manager assists the management to oversee the smooth and efficient operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of hotel cleaning and audit standards meet/exceed guest satisfaction. Other responsibilities include participating in work improvement projects and initiatives. Summary of Responsibilities: Plan, execute and monitor cleanliness and maintenance of Housekeeping areas and guestrooms at high standards. Review and update departmental standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with audit and corporate brand standards Monitor and improve work safety standards to avoid any health and injury hazards occurring from malpractice. Attend and lead daily shift briefings and others meetings as required Work closely with Quality Team to identify guest feedback on Housekeeping room cleanliness and condition, and strategize for improvement. Conduct room inspections to ensure high cleaning standards are upheld. Organize training sessions to equip Room Attendants and House Attendants with knowledgeWork with vendors for equipment and tools to aid guestroom cleaning and processes Identify and implement new technology enhancements to improve work processes Carry and collate bi-yearly/yearly inventory of linen and guestroom supplies to ensure sufficient par stock Track monthly expenses to ensure alignment with the budget for monthly Profit and Loss Report Monitor labour productivity and work to plan/fulfill manpower needs Carry out hiring, training, coaching, counseling and guidance to lead guest service using a Heartist approach Provide an environment that promotes open communication, service excellence, teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, trust, mutual respect, colleague satisfaction and embracing diversity Ensure that the Housekeeping Department team projects a warm, professional and welcoming image and is well groomed at all times Requirements: Bachelor Degree, Tertiary Education or diploma in Hotel courses preferable. Minimum 4 years of Housekeeping management experience in a 5-star hotel complex. Strong working knowledge of PC skills, MS Office Applications and PMS Thorough knowledge of Housekeeping equipment and procedures We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
