Purpose

As HR Consultant, you will support the Country HR Lead to deliver the People Agenda for the Country and support local delivery of high priority projects and change initiatives that drive business value including towards the Energy Transition, as well as to protect our license to operate and minimize business risks. Undertake ongoing activities including driving the local execution and management of projects and change initiatives, deployment of engage and perform, and organisational capability tasks.

What\xe2\x80\x99s the role?

We\xe2\x80\x99ll entrust you to:

Design, develop and implement interventions, solutions or programmes in support of the strategic People Agenda/ Priorities for the country and/or business.

Define and contract the blend of HR and other resources required to deliver the interventions.

Collaborate and engage with various stakeholders - business leaders, HR managers and other HR partners to jointly achieve project deliverables.

Manage and co-ordinate delivery of defined interventions of projects; act as an integrator while leading cross-functional team members and performing project management to drive milestones and keep track of project delivery.

Manage cost-effective and timely delivery of critical business change initiatives, including but not limited to:

Organisational redesign and implementation including liaison with Country HR Employee Relations/Industrial Relations (ER/IR) and HR Operations.

Change and Engage strategy and activities to support successful implementation of change/ transformation and for target audience to thrive in change.

Initiatives resulting from insights from diagnostics, organizational health reviews and effectiveness, as well as leadership effectiveness that will drive higher levels of business performance and reflect our leadership framework.

People capability projects to promote a learner\xe2\x80\x99s mindset and support upskill/ reskill to meet changing business needs and support development.

Implementation of specific business or country Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, as well as talent management.

A proportion of this role\xe2\x80\x99s time will be allocated to cross-community HR projects for broadening, exposure and development purposes.

Dimensions

HR Consultants are a flexible resource as such dimensions may not be fixed. Experience level will drive where HR Consultants are deployed.

What we need from you

You will have:

Ability to rapidly acquire understanding of the business or function context for which intervention is being managed \xe2\x80\x93 including business value drivers and cost levers.

Effective consulting skills - diagnosis, inquiry, contracting and facilitation \xe2\x80\x93 to accurately scope the required work, assess resources required, contract the right team, and facilitate defined interventions.

Ability to engage and influence senior business, function, or country stakeholders, and deliver through others.

Ability to integrate including to coach cross-functional teams beyond formal line of authority.

Strong project management capability \xe2\x80\x93 familiar with and able to selectively deploy a range of project management tools and methodologies.

Effective use of data and trend analysis to determine root cause and to define and track relevant business outcomes.
