Business Human Resources Position HR Unite Test Lead (Contract)

Reporting to HR Unite APAC Deployment Lead

JOB OVERVIEW Based in Singapore, in this role you will be integral to the success of the HR Unite – Workday transformation test strategy across our technical and functional landscape. You will actively engage with and build a highly productive and trusted working relationship with stakeholders and with members of the implementation team. You will be a key member of the Workday implementation test team, providing your expertise on developing and agreeing comprehensive test artifacts for our Workday enabled professional services transformation journey. You will bring your experienced test analyst skills to establish testing approach throughout the implementation lifecycle. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creation of test scenarios and other test artifacts based on approved design documents. Alignment review with process owners, functional/technical leads and the business. Define data requirements for each test scenario.
• Collaborate closely and align with both functional & technical design and data teams throughout each test phase.
• Test execution of test types for multiple test phases throughout the implementation.
• Manage all test defects through to resolution for each test phase. Test change requests where needed.
• Act as test team point of contact.
• Collaborate with teams across shores to meet the required outcomes and objectives.
• Help the business to execute both functional and technical business testing during business test phases.
• Actively participate in defect triage meetings during test phase execution.
• Liaise with the business to promote and help communicate the test approach.
• Actively report test progress at each stage, also logging test execution results including defects in the test tracking tool.
• Train and mentor the testers.

REQUIREMENTS

• A test professional with excellent end to end Integration test analyst role experience gathered working on Workday.
• Excellent knowledge of project transformation testing, with experience of writing both functional and technical test scenarios for multiple test phases – i.e Functional, System Integration test, User Acceptance testing.
• Strong skills in developing and communicating comprehensive test plans and test approach for multiple test cycles across technology, integrations, data quality and data completeness in partnership with functional, technical, data and 3rd party peers.
• Excellent experience and demonstrated use of test tracking and defect management tools.
