Reporting directly to the Senior HRBP in Singapore, the HRBP will collaborate closely with the leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for leaders and ShopBackers based in Singapore. In this role, you will provide guidance on various HR functions, from employee lifecycle management to talent management, all while maintaining a hands-on approach to HR operations. To excel in this role, you must effectively operate at both strategic and operational levels as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to acquire in-depth knowledge of their operations and teams, and deliver HR policies and strategies tailored to each department/business.
  • Utilize data and insights to propose and track action plans aimed at enhancing engagement and retention
  • Guide leaders and managers on performance management and enhancing managers\' effectiveness in people management and talent development.
  • Manage employee disciplinary matters and provide advice to managers on case-specific resolutions.
  • Be a culture guardian and promoter. Have an in-depth understanding of the team\'s culture. Champion our core values in all aspects of our work and performance.
  • Transform the high-level people strategies into ground-level execution. You will customize the project plans and implementation in the teams and assist team leads in all kinds of organizational changes from the most critical people projects to daily operations.
  • Establish and manage strong relationships and engagement with staff at all levels. Be a trusted partner that the staff are willing to reach out proactively to.
  • Collaborate with the extended people team to bring in HR functional specialists in Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning when appropriate
  • Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree from a reputable University
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant HR management experience, including support for leaders, preferably in eCommerce or high-growth companies
  • Thorough knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and related legislation, with a strong background in handling employee relation matters.
  • Proficient in dealing with people data, metrics and providing insights through analytics.
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity, make informed decisions in rapidly changing environments, and act swiftly even when information is limited.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and not afraid to "roll up your sleeves" to get things done.
  • Adept at working with diverse teams of different cultures and personalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and strong \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.
