Job Description


You will serve as a business partner, and work closely with the business leaders to support business goals and achieve positive results in the following functions: Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruiting life cycle.
  • Design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Manage internship programmes, serve as a point of contact for interns.
  • Ensure a quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment life cycle process.
  • Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers and ensure the staffing plans and candidate pipeline align to meet hiring goals.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and the hiring process.
  • Accurately track pipeline, priorities and performance data to share with internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Continuously attract and network with top talent and build a central repository of candidate information with an emphasis on feeder pool development to proactively meet future workforce needs and decrease time to fill.
  • Explore diverse populations of candidates.
  • Ensure positive experience for candidates to optimally leverage the talent attraction activity.
  • Conduct salary analysis to offers and ensure organizational equity.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for the onboarding and exit processes.
  • Conduct HR -related training including New Hire Orientation.
  • Continually research and propose new processes and ideas to attract, retain, and engage high potential employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Gather and analyze data to build HR metrics, for e.g., time-to-hire, cost per hire, staff turnover.
  • Maintain employee personal files and records digitally.
Engagement and Retention
  • Partner with the business leaders to position and develop employer branding, employee engagement activities and staff retention strategies.
  • Be a champion for employee recognition and morale building activities.
Employee Relations
  • Apply knowledge of and ensure compliance with the labour law, company policies and best practices to resolve employee issues.
  • Conduct investigations and make disciplinary recommendations, when needed.
  • Educate business leaders and employees in handling of employee issues.
  • Coach managers on Performance Management conversations and documentation.
  • Prepare corrective action documents and requests for separation.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Utilize exit interview data to identify trends and make recommendations to reduce turnover and improve employee engagement.
Talent Development
  • Support in identifying competency and skills gap for training needs analysis and training plans.
  • Source, propose and administer learning programmes for staff development needs.
  • Support the Leadership Development and Career Development Programmes.
  • Drive the learning needs analysis process and career development conversations through the promotion of existing tools and actively seeking and developing new opportunities.
  • Manage graduate programmes or Management trainees programme.
  • Apply for government training grants.
  • Facilitate talent development sessions.
  • Conduct post-training evaluation, and measure results.
Performance Management
  • Support driving the performance appraisal process to deliver high performance.
  • Assist in training managers to give fair assessments to employees during the Performance Appraisal exercise.
  • Responsible to collation and analysis of data from the performance appraisal exercise.
HRIS System Integration
  • Support in the migration of HRIS, and in the development of training materials for internal coaching.
  • Act as internal subject matter expert on HRIS reporting and trouble shooting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Business Adminstration or certifications in Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in talent acquisition in recruitment agency environment and/or the education sector.
  • Possess strong application knowledge of the labour law and HR practices.
  • Excellent influencing, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Possess sound business acumen with good sense of ownership and project management skills.
  • Hands-on attitude with high energy levels while working under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism is a must.
  • Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.
