Human Resources Generalist / Coordinator

Job Description

Purpose statement:
The Human Resources Coordinator would be required to provide operational support to the APAC team in the full spectrum of employee life cycle, ensuring alignment to the company's strategic objectives. This position will work closely with the regional team to foster a vibrant, friendly work environment that promotes strong collaboration, creativity, high performance, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting and Onboarding:
? Post job advertisements
? Pre-screening and downloading of applicants' CVs from Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
? Schedule meetings and interviews
? Manages pre-employment process such as collection of documents, medical checks and new hire logistics (laptop & mobile, badge, payroll setup, insurance, etc.)
? Works with hiring managers to arrange orientation programs and probation confirmations
Payroll and Benefits Management:
? Manage payroll for all APAC territories
? Manage IR8A and IR21 clearance for Singapore employees
? Manage leaves via eLeave system - e.g., allocation of paternity / marriage leave / training / Covid leave etc.
? Manage insurance renewals
? Manage APAC public holiday calendar
? Coordinate insurance renewals and employee health check-up
? Support on regional CSR or employee engagement events and activities
Training and Talent Management:
? Work with external training vendors to support employee training enrollment
? Enroll associates in internal trainings
? Maintain the associates' training records
? Run reports and ensure 100% completion of Talent Profiles with Regional Team
? Administrate employee exit process in Talent Management Systems
? Maintain exit checklist clearance and manage payroll for leavers as per the statutory requirements
? Assist in the completion of statutory surveys
? Ad-hoc responsibilities include being a Fire Warden, coordinating with EHS on employee initiatives
Education:
? Bachelor's degree in business or human resource management or an equivalent combination of education & experience required
Professional Experience:
? Minimum of 4 years of HR generalist/operations experience required
? Workday experience would be preferred
