Our research analysts analyze relevant market trends, highlights risks and opportunities, and act as consultants for the bank, its clients, and stakeholders. That\xe2\x80\x99s why we are committed to providing an environment with your development and wellbeing at its center.You can expect:Flexible benefits plan including virtual doctor consultation servicesComprehensive leave benefitsGender Neutral Parental LeaveFlexible working arrangements25 days of annual paid leave, plus public holiday & Flexible Working ArrangementYour key responsibilities:Conduct timely, insightful analysis on markets in Asia with a particular focus on India and ASEANAnalyze economic developments from macro data releases, capital flows, and central bank and government policies to generate investment and hedging recommendations for Deutsche Bank\xe2\x80\x99s clients, with a particular focus on currency and interest rate marketsWrite for regional and global publications on investment opportunities, trading recommendations and market themes in AsiaPresent ideas and recommendations to the bank\xe2\x80\x99s clients through multiple channels, including marketing trips to various geographiesSupport key internal stakeholders, including Senior Management in the Investment Bank and Global Research, for topics related to AsiaYour skills and experience:University degree in Economics and/or Finance, and comfortable with programming languages (Python, R) and handling big data8+ years of experience and knowledge working as an Economist or Strategist covering FX & Rates productsDeep understanding of Asian markets (ASEAN and/or India), including regulatory landscape, policy architecture and market instrumentsA keen interest in, and passion for, financial markets, macroeconomics, and current affairsGood interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication in EnglishDesire to take initiative, express intellectual curiosity, propose new ideas, deliver on independent projects, and excel in a fast-paced environmentRole is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office.
