JOB SUMMARY:
The Indirect Category Manager for Professional Services, HR Services & IT is part of the Global Indirect Procurement Team. Individual will lead & drive the category management of indirect spends including spend analysis, supplier performance and strategy development. The individual will partner with the global category manager team to develop the category strategy and supplier relationships for Global/Region Professional Services, HR Services & IT spend. This individual will serve as a key interface to regional suppliers & strategically source goods and services to improve quality and provide for innovative opportunities at the lowest total cost of ownership. This individual will develop supplier partnerships in accordance with supplier relationship strategies and establish contracts optimizing value and minimizing risk. Activities will leverage synergies between all regional sites with regards to the existing supply base and global spend leverage to maximize business and financial opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with global category team to implement sourcing strategies for key categories in the region while ensuring quality, value-cost optimization, service performance and business continuity are maintained with selected suppliers
  • Drive annual productivity and savings with VIP roadmap on responsible areas using the multistep category management process and partnering with global, regional & cross-functional teams.
  • Manage supplier relationships with suppliers providing products and services driving best in class quality, cost, and delivery
  • Identify & design of current and future supply base through active monitoring and report on supplier opportunities and risks, market trends and innovation roadmaps.
  • Conduct regular reviews with key stakeholders and provide regular reporting on initiatives and cost reduction projects.
  • Utilize procurement systems to drive analytics and provide appropriate reports for use within category plans and for sharing and analysis with appropriate teams.
  • Utilize appropriate tools to maximize value delivery (e-bidding, should cost modelling, TCO, value lever analysis)
  • Support Sr. Manager, Indirect Category to work with global, regional, and cross-functional teams to plan global strategic direction for Professional Services, HR Services & IT management
  • Leads the process of spend data analysis for Indirect categories
  • Effectively lead sourcing activities including RFP, negotiation, contract administration, and site support implementation as needed.
  • Establish business terms, agreements, and contracts with suppliers
  • Keep current on regional market cost drivers and economic outlook ensuring market intelligence is communicated to appropriate personnel
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build & deliver strategic solutions such as Business Improvement Plan in cost, quality & delivery
  • Act as lead negotiator for local & regional business agreements
  • Monitor, track and report on savings and key performance indicators for region
  • Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Global Procurement
  • Manage conflict and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Meets the expectations of internal and external customers and gains their respect
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills
