With increasing demand and new product introductions, they are currently looking for an Indirect Procurement Manager to assist them and contribute in this area.
Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, your main responsibilities include managing the implementation of company\'s initiatives on Indirect Procurement for the APAC region. You are responsible to establish close collaboration between stakeholders to provide solutions that support the business goals. You are also expected to have great communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Close working relationship to work with technical supply chain functions (Distribution, Warehouse, Logistics, Transportation) and corporate services to lead the Procurement-to-Pay process of indirect commodities.
To conduct market analysis and data gathering, sourcing and negotiation with Vendors, tracking of savings and reporting performance management.
Close collaboration with cross-function teams in order to execute category management strategy.
Successfully managed strategic sourcing activities across multiple markets for mixed categories, ideally with experience within distribution and manufacturing equipment.
Demonstrated proactiveness in previous roles and problem-solving skills.
Travelling within the APAC markets is a requirement.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Profile
You must have a Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain and a minimum of 6 years experience, preferably with experience within the Retail/FMCG Industry and exposure in Indirect Procurement. It is essential that you can demonstrate ability to be strong in negotiation and supplier management. You must possess strong influencing skills to be able to deliver value and advice to peers and stakeholders. Additionally, you must have analytical skills and data interpretation in order to use these metrics to discover areas of business improvement and drive performance.
