Job Description

Assist in strategizing, planning and implementing industry development activities, interacting with stakeholders in public agencies, institutes of higher learning and the industry.

• Strategize, Develop and Implement industry development plans for Calibration Measurement Services.
• Conduct Periodic Surveys to assess the current and emerging needs from the related landscape.
• Prepare contractual agreements including Non-Disclosure, Research Collaboration and Service Agreements
• Negotiate Project terms and Initiate collaboration projects with industry

o Engagement of companies for Industry Alignment funds

o Scoping for ongoing industry led grants / research projects

• Market & commercialize the R&D outcomes from the institute
• Establish personal contact with new and existing industry members and Manage Customer relationship
• Lead and support new initiative taskforces
• Coordinate Roundtables and other events for industry
• Partner and work with the A*STAR Industry Development Group and research entities
• Any other ad hoc duties/tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned to the incumbent from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master degree in a Science related area and/or equivalent experience/training with 3 years of experience
• Has experience working with Government Agencies, Research Institutes or the Industry
• Strong passion for business development and managing customer relationships
• A team player inspired to innovate and deliver solutions to customers
• Ability to work across functions and industry members
• Critical thinking, problem solving, project management, people management and excellent communication skills are needed
• The ability to learn and adapt new technologies quickly is also critical for this job
