An important and crucial role within our team in Singapore for a talented Inside Sales Engineer to join Servomex, the world leader in gas analysis. The successful candidate will develop their territory in order to generate sustained profitable sales growth and also provide a range of technical and commercial support functions within the region. The Inside Sales Engineer will be our technical expert working with our key account manager and customer service, maximizing and growing business opportunities, through the promotion of approved applications and best practice of Servomex analyzers.

About the Opportunity:

  • Growth: To deliver orders and sales objectives for the sales plan. To develop the business plan and sales strategy for the assigned accounts in the region
  • Strategic: To develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with regional accounts in the region to accomplish organic growth, long-term company objectives / strategic plan and drive 80-20 culture. Create a 3-5 Year strategic plan
  • Regional Performance Management: To define and manage the monthly and quarterly sales objective. To develop distributor and channel networks across the region to deliver profitable business. To establish target markets, key application areas and customers in co-ordination with BU, providing regular customer and market feedback
  • Communication: To ensure a clear communication process with Global Key Account Manager, Business Units, Marcomms and Operations with regards specific customer issues needing resolution. Work on a plan for Voice of the Customer (VOC)
  • Travel / Events: To visit the accounts and grow key customer relationships in the region. Ensure training, seminars, conferences / events are developed when required to develop new sales opportunities for Servomex
  • To report back using the company CRM tool Sales Force.com on customers and opportunities on a regular basis as requested


About your Talent:
  • Proven knowledge and experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, and/or industrial gas/semi-conductor market
  • Familiar with key accounts\xe2\x80\x99 instrument engineers and the EPC and or large contractors buying process
  • Strong capability to develop and manage sales channel and distributors as well as mega project hunting capability
  • Result oriented attitude and strategic thinking mindset
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skill
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • High energy level, passion for role and desire to succeed
  • Possesses strong ability for multitasking
  • Experience of using CRM tools (preferably Sales Force.com) and SAP


Essential Experience and Skills:
  • Proven knowledge and experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, and/or industrial gas/semi-conductor market
  • Proven experience and a successful track record of sales within the Gas Analysis/ Process Instrumentation industry
  • Familiar with key accounts\xe2\x80\x99 instrument engineers and the EPC and or large contractors buying process
  • Strong capability to develop and manage sales channel and distributors as well as mega project hunting capability
  • Result oriented attitude and strategic thinking mindset
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skill
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • High energy level, passion for role and desire to succeed
  • Possesses strong ability for multitasking
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Experience of using CRM tools (preferably Sales Force.com) and SAP
  • Verbal and written fluency in English
  • Verbal communication skills in Mandarin


Essential Qualifications:
  • University degree (or equivalent) within a technical discipline essential (engineering, electronics/instrumentation)

Location: Singapore offices (there may be occasional travel to customer sites within Singapore)
