Purpose of the Role As part of the product and solutions team, we aim to provide holistic financial solutions and product suites that can cater to our customer base through SFA’s active sales representatives.   • To manage the onboarding of Product Providers and Products and oversee the maintenance of Product suite approved for distribution by SFA.

  • Conduct of due diligence process for onboarding of Product Provider and products, including investments, to ensure that they meet SFA’s product strategy and are deemed suitable for SFA clients for assessment and approval by the SFA Product Committee.
  • Conduct of regular review of product provider and products, including investments to ensure that they remain suitable for SFA clients and are in line with SFA’s Product Strategy.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in product and product management areas. This includes providing support in product knowledge to Training Dept and sales force and working with eFNA team to ensure accurate product mapping.
  • Oversee the maintenance and management of SFA’s product suite; ensuring that information are kept organized, updated and relevant to support sales and servicing.
  • Review/guide the Basis of Recommendation (BOR) and ensure product mapping validation tagging are correctly updated on eFNA. Provide updates on changes to product suite uploaded to eFNA to support the quality of advice provided by sales force to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities.
  • The incumbent may also be assigned to perform other responsibilities of the products and solutions team.
  • Ensure service standards between SFA and Strategic Business Partners are met.
Requirements
Experience

  • At least 4-6 years of relevant experiencein the Insurance industry. Knowledge and experiencein financial planning and analysis is preferred.
  • Excellent inter-personal and effective communication skills both written and verbal, building strong relationships at all levels.
  • Detail-focused, highly analytical orientation.
  • Ability to work independently with good time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to insurance products.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, practices, operations and processes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to identify key issues and recommend practical solutions.
