One of the global banks is expanding its presence in APAC.
Client is looking to hire Integration/Digital Architect who will play a key role in their transformation of Transactional Banking

Responsibilities

We are looking for an architect with strong background in both transaction banking and technology (cover the different functions and products) while at the same time have a good understanding of emerging business models and products.

As an Integration/Digital Architect for Transaction Banking, you will be developing and implementing a digital/integration strategy aligned to the wider business and IT vision while leveraging the latest technology trends to ensure the bank\'s transaction banking services remain a leader in the industry and relevant.

• Designing and implementing robust and scalable API integration solutions that seamlessly connect the bank\'s microservices architecture with internal and external (clients) systems.
• Ensuring efficient and secure data exchange, driving digital transformation, and enhancing the bank\'s overall API ecosystem Lead the end-to-end architecture design process, from ideation and conceptualization to implementation and rollout, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Detailed experience in integrating high throughput data loads and architecting integration landscapes that support complex non-functional requirements
• Detailed understanding and experience of one or more Integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Azure Integration services etc.
• Expert understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns and use cases
• Demonstrable experience in microservices and API development, along with a clear understanding of the networking and security element of integration architecture
• Experience with continuous delivery pipelines and DevOps, with practical experience of delivery using CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience in working with Financial Services-based digital architectures, mobile architectures, and application development approaches
• A technological thought leader who actively engages with communities and promotes innovations with the bank\'s APIs

Skills

Must have

- Proven experience as a Digital/Integration Architect or a similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable API integration/digital solutions within the banking or financial services industry, particularly in digital banking.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of designing, deploying and managing complex digital/integration environments in financial services
- Extensive experience in digital transformation, including design and delivery of digital capabilities with extensive knowledge of strategy, products, processes, technology and people.
- Lead, design and govern end-to-end digital/integration solutions & roadmap to ensure a highly scalable, high-performance and cost-effective architecture for our organization
- Strong technical knowledge to support integration including API, messaging, bulk transfer and in particular integration with client initiated points is key
- Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architectures, and integration patterns.
- Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Kong, AWS API Gateway, Zuul) and their configuration, customization, and deployment.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, EMS), Steam Processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in API integration (e.g., Java, Golang) and experience with API development frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
- Maintain a repository of reference artefacts, including up-to-date system diagrams, API sequence flow diagrams for all of the core product functions and system integrations,
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the transaction banking landscape, including emerging trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive forces.
- Exceptional technical acumen, with experience in modern technology stacks, cloud-based solutions, and API-driven architectures.
- Ability to demonstrate a DevOps approach: Agility, shift left, delivery, continuous feedback, customer centricity
