Intern, Leasing
Job Purpose
The Intern, Leasing position involves building relationships with prospective and current tenants and developing leasing strategies to enhance the trade mix in our commercial properties which brings convenience for our commuters and the community. You will support, improve and recreate leasing opportunities through curating our various spaces and properties, including our MRT, LRT stations and bus interchanges.
Responsibilities
- Execute and implement leasing strategies and plans for commercial activities in our MRT, LRT stations and bus interchanges
- Ensure all available space is leased in an appropriate, timely and effective manner planning and implementing the tenancy mix
- Source and seek out prospective tenants
- Generate new leasing leads
- Establish and build networking channels with prospective, existing tenants and real estate marketing agents
- Enhance the value of our properties to generate new revenue streams
- Assist to prepare leasing reports, memos as well as presentation slides
- Vizzio scanning of stations along our network
- Other leasing administrative duties, as required
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Current undergraduate earning the Degree in Business, Real Estate/Building or related qualifications with high interest in Real Estate and/or Property Leasing and management
- Any experience in retail property leasing/marketing would be an added advantage
- Experience in handling land lease matters and prior knowledge in local planning regulations and land laws would be an advantage

- Positive, professional approach with a strong emphasis on providing excellent customer service
- Resourceful, self-driven and able to perform effectively in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- A team player with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
