Job Description

What the role is:Youth Division (YD)'s focus is to build inspired and committed youth for Singapore. We work with our key partner; the National Youth Council (NYC) on two key fronts: (i) supporting and enhancing general youth development and (ii) building a vibrant and connected youth sector. The intern will support the division's youth engagement work for the Somerset Belt project. This role provides an opportunity for the intern to learn about deliberative and participatory citizen engagement approaches, as well as contribute to the development of a vibrant youth precinct that is for youths, with youths and by youths.What you will be working on:The intern's responsibilities include: Assist in planning and executing youth and key stakeholders' engagement activities such as focus group discussions, networking sessions, and surveys. Analyse and develop visualisations of the data. Support social media content creation and management. Support administrative tasks related to the project.What we are looking for:

• Strong communications and interpersonal skills. Good writing and presentation skills. Basic data analysis and visualisation skills. Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation, and trends. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Passion for youth development and community engagement.
