We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.In this role, you will report to the Head of Investment Support and Reporting and is responsible for investment support activities to ensure accurate allocation of unit to PH, on-time settlement to/from Fund Manager/Debtor/Creditors, escalation of issue and resolution within timeline stipulated and maintenance of relevant schedules and reports.:

• Responsible in ensuring smooth and effective operations of daily trade dealing, settlement, pricing and corporate actions, on-time trade settlement and troubleshooting of daily investment operations issue. Any incident of error and deviation to be escalated immediately and resolved within stipulated timeline
• Responsible to maintain oversight of outsourced operations of custodial and fund administration to service providers in term of their quality, service level, competitiveness of their service and overall assessment of the effectiveness of their services
• Responsible to ensure all unit holding are reconciled on time and any discrepancies are resolved promptly
• Responsible to ensure investment receivables and payables due are followed up and settled within stipulated timeline
• Responsible to ensure all opening and closing of custody account and its affiliated cash account process are followed through and activated by the timeline set
• Responsible to ensure investment operations schedule and reconciliations are completed timely and in accordance to the policy and standard set.
• Responsible for Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance reporting to various investment counterparties
• Responsible to handle account maintenance related tasks/requests from fund managers and custodians.
• Assist in ad-hoc tax request matters when required
• Analyze and solve problems without clear precedence
• Support in any other assigned task as and when necessary
• Provide guidance and support to new colleagues
• Assist in managing / executing ad-hoc changes in regulatory requirements or current process.

Who we are looking for:Competencies & Personal Traits

• Sound technical financial knowledge
• Good understanding of accounting standards and requirements
• Good understanding of fund accounting and/or investment operations
• Experience with AS400 and/or SUN accounting system
• Detailed and Meticulous
• Strong analytics skills

Working Experience

• Min 5 years in investment operations of insurance industry

Professional Qualifications

• ACCA or Degree in Finance
