Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The main responsibilities of this role include designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, managing Microsoft Intune for device provisioning, overseeing employee onboarding and offboarding, administering Azure Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft 365, maintaining Synology NAS servers, and providing on-the-ground IT support to more than 350 end-users across the Singapore site and APAC locations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in networking solutions such as Fortigate and Ubiquiti Unifi, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-site, international team using Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure using Fortigate firewalls and Ubiquiti Unifi systems to ensure secure and high-performance connectivity for the Singapore site and regional locations. Manage Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, configuration, and compliance, including provisioning laptops and mobile devices for end-users. Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes. This includes account setup, access provisioning, and secure data handover, ensuring adherence to company policies. Administer Azure AD (Entra ID) and Microsoft 365, handling user and group management, permissions, and integration with additional systems. Maintain and optimize Synology NAS servers for data storage, backups, and sharing, ensuring data security, integrity, and availability. Provide hands-on IT support to over 350 end-users at the Singapore site and throughout APAC locations by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and application issues to minimize downtime. Participate in weekly IT team meetings via Microsoft Teams, providing status updates, contributing to troubleshooting efforts, and recommending actionable solutions. Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and respond promptly to IT incidents to reduce downtime across supported sites. Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement IT best practices, support organizational scalability, and ensure seamless operations in a multi-site environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT systems administration, with a strong focus on networking and hands-on end-user support. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Fortigate firewalls and Ubiquiti Unifi networking solutions. Expertise in Microsoft Intune, including laptop enrollment, policy management, and endpoint security. Proficiency in managing Azure AD (Entra ID) and administering Synology NAS solutions. Experience with employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, especially identity and access management. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and other collaboration platforms. Experience working in mid-sized organizations with hybrid or multi-site operations in the APAC region.

Additional Information:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
