The Keppel Associate Programme is a 2-year programme comprising of on-the-job training and leadership development opportunities, from which you will build critical business and operation skills, gain commercial exposure and acquire a professional network to embark on a fulfilling and rewarding career with Keppel. In each of these roles, you will undertake duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor/head of department. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the Operations/Maintenance Manager in the control of operations, maintenance, consumables, manpower and its budget. \xe2\x80\xa2 Satisfy Primary Customers (National Environment Agency, Keppel Infrastructure Trust) and build good relationships with stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Efficient running of the plant and satisfy NEA ISA, KIT, Statutory/Regulatory requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist Operations Manager to manage and be responsible for the safe, efficient and smooth operation of the plant\xe2\x80\x99s critical and auxiliary equipment including Boilers and steam Turbo-Generator. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in the activities of Central Control Room (CCR), Weighbridge, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant, Overhaul, reception hall, bunker management and other general plant matters. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure incidents (if any) are well-handled and properly documented with minimum disruption to operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Enforce plant safety procedures and achieve good safety record. \xe2\x80\xa2 Co-ordinate with Maintenance Section in matters related to plant operation and maintenance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in matters relating to maintenance activities (both Mechanical and Electrical) inclusive of Overhaul, Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) and Predictive Maintenance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor plant parameters and make adjustments/troubleshoot at the site to ensure parameters are within limits, including temperature, pressure, flue gas emissions, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Update plant status \xe2\x80\x93 inform equipment failure or situation in time to immediate superior or Central Control Room. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be responsible for resolution of Jobcards (J/C) & Permit-to-Work (PTW) and the safety associated. Enforcement of Permit-to-Work (PTW) System with good Risk Assessment System in line with identified Work Inventory. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in preparation of Procurement inquiry or site show around if required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support to BCP, IQC, R & D, ISO, external and internal audit and any other activities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Open mindset towards potential overseas deployment in future. \xe2\x80\xa2 Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time. Improvement/Project/Overhaul works \xe2\x80\xa2 Explore, contribute to, carry out and coordinate Value Creation projects that seek to improve and optimize plant processes. For such projects, as and when required, to perform deep analysis and develop models to determine feasibility, scale of conduct, scenario-based hypothesis and most importantly, expected payback period and return on investments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support and contribute to external projects that involve Singapore and overseas plants. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate Contractor activities for Boiler and Turbo-Generator overhaul, Common shutdown, as well as any ad hoc work activities in plant \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and coordinate activities that promote Culture and Communication in the plant. Contractor Management \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with contractors on matters relating to operations, maintenance and solid waste management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervise and oversee maintenance activities that are carried out by contractors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure contractor compliance to in-house rules and HSE protocols by ensuring adequate supervision is provided and jobs are carried out safely.
