Job Description

Job Qualifications;

  • The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the catering kitchen and must be able to fry/cook.
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
  • To be able to converse in Mandarin
Job Responsibilities:
  • Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labour costs and profitability.
  • Timely analysis of Food & Beverage Prices in relation to the competition.
  • Participation and input towards F&B Marketing activities.
  • Development and maintenance of all department control procedures.
  • Plan, coordinate kitchen ordering and organization of kitchen and coldrooms
  • To ensure inventory level are correct and stocked sufficiently
  • Train delivery team on catering setup and procedures
  • Setting up SOP for kitchen team
  • Supervision of daily paper flow including Proposals, and Function Contracts.
  • Completion of the monthly forecast.
  • Attendance and participation at weekly F & B meetings
  • Design and develop menu planning and pricing.
  • Development and maintenance of department manual.
  • All other duties as directed by the B.O.D
  • Ensuring that services meet customer specifications.
  • Liaise on an ongoing basis with the marketing to ensure all client needs and requirements will be met.
  • Minimize the number of customer complaints.
  • Staff professional attitude and proper meeting Company appearance and uniform standards.
  • Teamwork-Relations with co-workers and management.
  • Responsible for staff training and development.
  • Ensure proper hiring practices in accordance to MOM guideline
  • Proper termination procedures must be followed.
  • High employee retention.
  • Personal development and growth.
  • Discipline of personnel when required.
  • Responsible for overseeing all scheduling within the department.
  • Participation towards overall Maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Overall maintenance of the operation at a level in keeping with the standards prescribed.
  • Report any deficiencies in equipment and facilities.
  • Oversee the entire operations of the catering operations and ensuring the profitability
  • To achieve monthly sales target and monitor sales
  • Oversee maintenance and minor renovation
  • Responsible for staff management and staff recruitment
  • Lead and motivate staff in achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate the operations and procedures and suggest improvement
  • Handle issues pertaining to SFA
  • Class 3 driving license a bonus
