Job Description
Role : L3 Senior Engineer - Security (Server)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the availability, operational stability and system performance of the server/network components of the security tools installed in GIC.
- Diagnose and resolve any system problems, working with other technical teams within Technology Group and vendors when required.
- Plan, coordinate and perform minor version upgrades of the server components of security tools.
- Plan, coordinate and perform maintenance activities such as software and/or agent repair and reinstallation on servers/network operating systems.
- Develop, test and deploy scripts for software and/or agent upgrades and bug fixes when required.
- Perform day to day service request fulfilment when required.
- Budget planning.
- Provide L3 fix support for security platforms.
- Plan and participate in disaster recovery tests.
- Function as Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance to L2 operations team.
- Work with Security Engineering team and implement best in class security solutions.
Experience with patch deployment tools, patch management and execution.
Generate and analyze vulnerability report, devise action plan to meet established KPI/SLA.Requirements:
A recognized Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
CISSP or other equivalent certification is required.
Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Good skills in time management and personal task prioritization.
Exposure to network and server operating systems will be an advantage.
Experience in vulnerability management and operations in finance sector.
Experience with patch deployment tools.Job Types: Permanent, Contract
