About the Role This position requires a strong driven individual who has proven abilities in development and management of business functions with their previous roles. These attributes will be essential for successfully working on anti-counterfeit strategies through all distribution channels. This individual will work with key stakeholders across the company, distributors, customers, clients, outside consultants, outside counsel, investigators and law enforcement to educate, influence, and support anti-counterfeit activities, strategic initiatives, as well as provide expertise for key business decisions. Responsibilities will also include development, implementation and oversight of programs designed to identify, measure, monitor and resolve counterfeit products. Your Team In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Manager, Business Development, Consumer Audio, Asia Pacific. What You Will Do Manage day-to-day logistics of APAC brick and mortar brand enforcement program, including identifying targets, collecting evidence, assisting counsel with drafting cease and desist letters, and assisting counsel with settlement negotiations in APAC region Lead a team of regional private investigators and law firms engaged in the ongoing monitoring for counterfeits in the APAC marketplace Partner with APAC law enforcement and customs officials Conduct trainings for law enforcement and customs officials Responsible for tracking and reporting of all brick-and-mortar anti-counterfeiting actions, including maintenance of database and creation of power-point presentations, excel charts, periodic status reports, and other documents for external and internal partners including Global Trademarks and Brand Enforcement team Collaborate with Global Trademarks and Brand Protection team to ensure cohesive and robust global anti-counterfeiting program Ensure alignment with the goals and priorities of the company and global anti-counterfeiting program Lead the development and implementation of strategies for the defense, protection and enforcement of our product portfolio Work closely with the distributors and local teams to track and takedown counterfeit product posts on 3rd party websites, social media accounts used to sell counterfeit products Support ad-hoc relevant duties as and when required What You Need Bachelor\'s degree in related field. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is a must. Minimum 6 years of experience in related field. Experience in general IP matters or understanding of intellectual property. What is Nice to Have Experience working in-house or for clients with significant anti-counterfeiting issues. Talent and aptitude to analyse and solve problems independently.
